As the diversity of the military changes, an increasing number of service members must address immigration legal matters within their immediate families. Many installation legal assistance offices do not have the immigration expertise to assist these service members. If you have questions about immigration, the American Immigration Lawyers Association may be able to help. The American Immigration Lawyers Association Military Assistance Program provides free immigration legal services to active-duty service members, reservists, veterans and their immediate families.
