The Coast Guard Mutual Assistance’s mission is to support the financial resilience of the Coast Guard community. It has a long history of helping the men and women of the United States Coast Guard, dating all the way back to 1924.
While CGMA works closely with the U.S. Coast Guard, it is an independent corporation. Its mission is to promote the financial stability and the Coast Guard community’s general well-being through interest-free loans, grants and financial counseling.
