The Department of Veterans Affairs offers independent living services through the Independent Living track for service members whose service-connected disability limits their ability to perform activities of daily living (like bathing, dressing, accessing the community and interacting with others) and restricts them from returning to work right away. Service members may also receive these services as they work to find a job.
