Military Interstate Children’s Compact Commission

Overview

The Military Interstate Children’s Compact Commission is a partnership between the Defense Department and state governments that addresses some of the educational challenges of transitioning children of military families. The compact addresses eligibility, enrollment, placement, graduation and other key issues.

The compact’s goal is to create a consistent policy in every school district and state that chooses to join.
