Operation Purple® Programs

Overview

Operation Purple® Programs, sponsored by the National Military and Family Association, offers a variety of in-person and virtual camp and summer challenge experiences designed to help military families connect with each other and enhance well-being.

Operation Purple® Camp

Operation Purple® Camp offers military-connected children, youth and teens a free week of summer camp. These camps bring together MilKids ages 6-16 years from all ranks and services, including National Guard and reserve components, to a unique and memorable summer camp experience. Campers can engage and make friends with others who have a parent or guardian in the military and connect with counselors who understand the challenges military life can bring. The camps also provide the opportunity to reconnect as a family through fun, family-oriented activities in the outdoors.
