TA DECIDE — Make Informed Decisions For Your Education

The first step in your education plan is choosing the right school. The Defense Department has developed the TA DECIDE tool to make it easier than ever to compare schools and programs to help you meet your education goals. The tool, uniquely designed for participants of the DOD Military Tuition Assistance program, provides data for military students just like you.

The TA DECIDE tool uses sources from the departments of Defense, Education and Veterans Affairs to provide you with information on the following:

Use the TA DECIDE tool to:

  • Find out if the institution you’re looking at is eligible to work with Defense Department’s tuition assistance.
  • Learn about first-time, full-time and in-state tuition rates.
  • Check on the Post-9/11 GI Bill® and the Yellow Ribbon program, which assists with private institutions and out-of-state tuition.

Compare other costs and fees like books, supplies, and room and board.
