Caregiver Support Services

Benefit overview

For caregivers, each day can bring new questions and new challenges. Make sure you are accessing the resources and support you need to care for yourself and your loved one. Military OneSource offers several resources tailored specifically to the needs of caregivers and their families.

As a caregiver, you are an extremely important part of your loved one’s recovery team. You know them better than any doctor or nurse, and may notice things they do not. As a key advocate for your loved one’s health, educating yourself about their condition will enable you to ask health care providers the right questions and help you anticipate your loved one’s needs.

Military OneSource’s Keeping It All Together notebook is a helpful way to organize your wounded warrior’s treatment and recovery in one place.

Additional support for caregivers

Virtual PEER Forums

For those who are unable to attend a Military Caregiver PEER Forum in person, Warrior Care hosts regularly occurring virtual teleconference forums for military caregivers. Join other military caregivers and gain emotional support by connecting with others who share similar experiences; learn skills to embrace and overcome daily challenges, and share stories and resources based on your personal experiences.
